The platform

Four production surfaces. One backend. One driver identity.

Sakshya is not an app with a dashboard bolted on. It is a driver app, a fleet web console, a field manager app and an IP-fenced platform-admin console — all reading one capture, one consent model and one permanent driver identity.

Product A

Sakshya — the driver app

For individual drivers and fleet drivers. It captures the trip, scores it, explains the score, coaches the driver, rewards improvement, and calls for help when something goes wrong.

A dimension the data cannot measure returns nothing and the remaining weights renormalise — the engine says “not measurable” rather than inventing a 100. Illustrative interface; figures are representative, not a live customer trip.

The score the driver sees — explainable, not a black box

Six named dimensions with published weights. Separate matrices for two- and four-wheelers, and a third if on-board diagnostics data is ever present, because two-wheeler risk is not car risk.

  • Speed compliance 25% · Braking 20% · Acceleration 15%
  • Cornering 15% · Smoothness 15% · Context, time-of-day and road 10%
  • Per-trip impact, score confidence interval, population percentile band, trip timeline, event map and monthly trends
  • Honest abstention: a dimension the data cannot measure returns nothing, and the remaining weights renormalise
Live

Trip capture — the hard part, done

  • GPS, accelerometer and gyroscope taken directly from the phone — no dongle.
  • Battery- and thermal-adaptive sampling with a time-based upload gate converges any handset’s sensor rate to a stable ~5 Hz.
  • Offline-first durable on-device queue with segment upload throughout the drive — dropped network, Doze or an app kill never loses a trip.
  • In-house automatic trip detection (activity recognition, geofence, boot, Bluetooth car-connect), plus manual and shift modes.
  • Named safety contracts for real-world messiness — a trip is never auto-ended just because GPS dropped.
Built

Journeys and chaptering

  • A long commercial drive with stops is stitched into one journey of chapters, not a dozen fragmented ‘trips’.
  • Built and awaiting flag-off — a funded milestone, not a redesign.
Live

Failsafe emergency SOS

  • One button, hold to fire: texts emergency contacts, alerts the fleet and broadcasts live location continuously on a public link that needs no app and no login.
  • Works when data is down — SMS rides the cellular network from the device itself.
  • One-tap call to 112, cancel and ‘I’m safe’ states, and honest delivery receipts.
  • The public tracking link is served from the app domain, never the API domain — the API host is never exposed publicly.
Live

Behaviour change that retains

  • Goals and streaks, coaching cards tied to real event rates, badges, a leaderboard with privacy controls and a shareable score card.
  • Rewards catalogue with server-authoritative eligibility; partners and rewards are managed through admin CRUD — never seeded fiction.
Live

Sharing, messaging and the fleet relationship

  • Family and peer sharing with a live person-map, entirely separate from any employer.
  • Work sharing with an off-duty boundary — an off-duty driver is not visible to their employer.
  • Fleet chat: two-way, business-record, hard driving lockout, spoken read-aloud, photo attachments and voice notes scanned server-side for malware before download.
  • Insurer connect — a driver can choose to share their score with an insurer for a quote.
Live

Privacy, consent and trust — first class

  • Granular, revocable, expiring consent for data, live location and chat, as one unified predicate across the codebase and CI-enforced.
  • Access history — the driver sees every read of their data.
  • DPDP-grade data export and right-to-erasure cascading across 37 tables, with a CI gate that fails if a new table escapes the sweep.
  • Device integrity attestation, biometric sign-in, encrypted local storage and a signed fail-closed remote-config channel (Ed25519).
Product B

Sakshya Business — console, manager app, platform admin

Three surfaces, one backend: a full web console for the desk, a dedicated Android manager app for the field, and a separate platform-admin console that makes enterprise and insurer procurement answerable.

Live

Live operations

  • Real-time driver status, position and on-duty state streamed over Server-Sent Events off a Redis hot store.
  • Engineered to scale to hundreds of thousands of drivers per view with viewport-bounded queries and GPU clustering — built, not yet deployed at that size.
  • Honest failure states: a failed poll says so instead of rendering an empty map as ‘no drivers’.
Live

Fleet analytics

  • Trips, distance, events per 100 km, void share, auto-detection share, daily-trip and score trends.
  • Score distribution, safest drivers and drivers needing attention — filterable by zone and period (7 / 14 / 30 / 90 days).
Live

Onboarding & identity

  • Org → fleets (zones) → drivers, with a UIN invite and driver-consent link flow. No silent tracking, ever.
  • Bulk roster import by CSV, self-serve org registration, email verification, two-factor authentication and seat/plan gating.
  • Role-based access — org admin, safety manager, dispatcher, analyst — with acknowledge/resolve denied to read-only analysts.
Live

Records & compliance

  • Trip review and trust queue: inspect trips, flag events, resolve driver disputes. Outcomes never silently alter a driver’s score.
  • Incident logging and a grievance workflow with SLA clocks.
  • Exports and webhooks to push fleet, driver and safety events into the operator’s own stack.
  • Per-read access logging — every manager read of a driver’s data is recorded and visible to that driver.
Live

Communication

  • Fleet-to-driver messaging as a business record, with attachments and voice notes scanned server-side for malware before download.
  • Org-wide broadcasts with delivery and acknowledgement receipts.
  • Genuinely two-way — the driver can start the conversation.
Live

Platform admin — the third surface

  • A separate, IP-fenced admin console with single sign-on (Keycloak / OIDC) for Sakshya’s own operators.
  • Org management, KYD feature flags, population baselines, anomaly review, partner and reward CRUD, and pilot operations.
  • System health, audit trail and a breach register — the surface that makes enterprise and insurer procurement answerable.
Straight answers

What the labels on this site mean.

We never upgrade a maturity tag without checking the system behind it. If something is not shipped, this site says so — on the page where you would otherwise assume it was.

Live

Running in production today, used by real drivers and real fleet managers.

Built

Code-complete and tested, behind a flag or awaiting a deployment milestone — not yet switched on for everyone.

Designed

Architecture and approach decided and written down. No production code yet.

Planned

On the roadmap, funded by a future milestone. Deliberately not started.

See the console with your own roster.

A pilot needs no hardware, no vehicle downtime and no procurement cycle — a driver is scored the moment they install the app. We will walk you through the live map, the trust queue and the consent flow.
